Cruise Description

85 Night Cruise departing from Callao to Southampton onboard Black Watch.

As Black Watch leaves the colonial town of Callao in its wake, you’ll cruise the South Pacific Ocean to the remote volcanic Easter Island – famed for its Moai statues, carved from rock and sitting watching over the island, before enjoying the paradise islands of Tahiti and French Polynesia. After crossing the International Date Line, and ‘losing’ a day, you’ll have the chance to explore Auckland and Sydney – two modern and bustling cities with much to offer.

Hamilton Island and the Great Barrier Reef are revered for their stunning corals and marine life, and can be ticked off your must-see list. Compare the awe-inspiring Komodo Dragon on UNESCO-protected Komodo Island with the dynamic city of Singapore, and the heady mix of skyscrapers, delicious street food and hidden architectural delights; before immersing yourself in the magnificence of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon - completely covered in solid gold and rising up 326 feet on a hill above the city.

The bustling cities of Cochin and Mumbai precede ancient Aqaba, from where you can take an overland tour to the Rose City of Petra – one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, and utterly breath-taking.

Cruise through the Suez Canal to ancient cities in Greece, including Piraeus, for Athens – home to the Acropolis and other stunning historical buildings. Civitavecchia is the port from which you can take a tour to the ‘Eternal City’ of Rome, giving you the chance to explore the Colosseum, climb the Spanish Steps, or enjoy fabulous Italian cuisine.
