2 Night Cruise sailing from Bagan to Mandalay onboard Belmond Road to Mandalay.
Day 1 Bagan
Board the ship at Bagan. Those who arrive early can choose to explore the magnificent temple complex, either by mountain bike, horse and cart or hot-air balloon.
As the ship sails towards Mandalay there are a variety of onboard activities for you to enjoy, including a fascinating lecture and an art exhibition. Relax by the pool on the Observation Deck, the largest outdoor space of any river cruise ship in Myanmar. Work out in the gym, or sample local infusions and delicacies in our Burmese Tea Shop experience.
In the evening, you are invited to wear a traditional sarong to our vibrant Longyi Cocktail Party.
Day 2 Mandalay
Arrive this morning in Myin Mu, a small riverside town 30 miles south of Mandalay.
Meet your guides and take a trishaw tour, visiting a local market and teashops. You’ll also learn about the area’s typical cottage industries, such as slipper production and bamboo weaving.
Return to the ship for lunch. After, disembark to explore the picture-perfect village of Alacapa. Get to know the locals, and witness a way of life barely touched by time.
In the evening, dine on Asian and Western specialities in the elegant restaurant followed by traditional entertainment.
Day 3 Mandalay
After an early breakfast disembark for your onward travel arrangements.
