Cruise Description

3 Night Cruise sailing from Paris roundtrip aboard Raymonde.

Day 1: PARIS

Boarding begins around 6.00pm on our traditional French barge, the MS RAYMONDE. Welcome on board and settle into your cabins. "Paris by night" cruise (depending on the level of water). Dinner on board will be followed by a traditional Titi Parisen show on board. Overnight mooring at the Quai Henry IV.

Day 2: PARIS and the famous sites

Full board on board. The morning is spent on a guided visit of Paris. The tour of the city will take you to see the major sites of the capital, such as the Place de la République, the main boulevards, the Opera, the Place de la Madeleine, Place Vendôme and the Louvre. From the Palais Royal, you are invited on a new and original walk along the prettiest covered walkways in Paris. Shortcuts for pedestrians, every one of these walkways is like a village in the heart of the capital. You will travel back through time and history around the Palais Royal. The galleries have retained all their charm; however Shiseido, JP Gauthier, Stella McCartney and many others have also brought luxury and extravagance here too. Afternoon spent cruising on the Seine. The banks of the Seine in Paris are designated a UNESCO world heritage site and are marked out of a sucession of masterpieces like Notre-Dame, the Sainte-Chapelle, the Louvre, the Invalides and the Place de la Concorde. The boat will be moored quai Anatole France. You can enjoy some free time visiting one of the most prestigious museums of Paris like the Louvre or Orsay. Free evening by yourself. We’ll remain in port overnight.

Day 3: PARIS and the Saint Germain des Prés district

Full board on board. The morning is spent on the guided tour of Saint Germain des Prés district. From the Trocadero, we will cruise along the cruising along the “Triumphal Way”, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees and the Place de la Concorde before arriving in Saint Germain des Prés. A legendary place where history, architecture, art and society life are a symbol of Paris. Here, it is said that you can still sense the presence of Sartre and de Beauvoir, as well as Juliette Greco because there is always a “Saint Germain des Prés after-life”. You will then cross through a maze of streets and little squares where you can see buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. Near the Odeon, all the figures of the Revolution await our arrival – Danton, Marat and Doctor Guillotine – as well as the oldest café in Paris. Near the Seine, artists and writers give way to antique dealers and luxury boutiques. We re-join our coach and return to the boat. Afternoon spent cruising on the Seine. We will cruise along the Jardin des Tuileries, pass under the bridge Alexandre III, listed historical monument; one of the most emblematic of the capital city. You will also see many others monuments like the Invalides, the Grand Palais and the Eiffel Tower. Tonight is our festive gala evening. We’ll remain in port overnight at the quai de Grenelle.

Day 4: PARIS
